Common vial sizes and water amounts
| Vial | Water | What that gives you |
|---|---|---|
| 5 mg | 1 mL | 50 mcg per unit; 250 mcg = 5U |
| 5 mg | 2 mL | 25 mcg per unit; 250 mcg = 10U |
| 10 mg | 2 mL | 50 mcg per unit; 500 mcg = 10U |
| 10 mg | 3 mL | 33 mcg per unit; 500 mcg = 15U |
Worked examples
Concentration 2.5 mg/mL → 25 mcg per unit → draw 10 units (0.1 mL) on a 30U syringe. That vial holds about 20 such draws.
Concentration 5 mg/mL → 50 mcg per unit → draw 5 units (0.05 mL) on a 30U syringe. That vial holds about 20 such draws.
Concentration 5 mg/mL → 50 mcg per unit → draw 10 units (0.1 mL) on a 30U syringe. That vial holds about 20 such draws.
Notes for this calculator
Because BPC-157 entries are in micrograms, small draws are the main problem. A 250 mcg entry on a 5 mg vial mixed with 1 mL is only 5 units; the same entry with 2 mL is 10 units and much easier to read. If your draw lands under 5 units, the calculator tells you how much water would fix it on the next vial.
BPC-157 is also sold blended with TB-500. For a blend, use the blend calculator, which treats the vial's total milligrams as one number.

Common questions
How many units is 250 mcg of BPC-157?
It depends on the water. 5 mg with 1 mL is 5 units; 5 mg with 2 mL is 10 units; 10 mg with 2 mL is 5 units. Enter your vial and water above and the units update instantly.
How many doses are in a 5 mg vial of BPC-157?
5 mg is 5,000 mcg. Divide by your entry: 250 mcg gives 20 draws, 500 mcg gives 10. The calculator shows this as doses per vial.
How much bacteriostatic water for a 5 mg BPC-157 vial?
1 mL or 2 mL are the most common. 2 mL doubles the units per draw and is easier to measure on a 30U syringe.
Does the calculator recommend a dose?
No. You enter the dose your protocol calls for and it converts that into syringe units, mL, and doses per vial. It never suggests what to take.
Why is my draw too big for the syringe?
The concentration is low for that dose. Either use a larger U-100 syringe or mix the next vial with less water. The calculator shows the exact water amount that would fit your syringe.
